I've always thought that ombre makes a beautiful statement on a bright summer's day. This trend was quite popular last year and has continued to entice people. J. Crew has two wonderful ombre pieces. This strapless cotton dress is quite stunning. It's very soft and simple. The box pleats are great--- it keeps the dress sophisticated yet flirty. And if you're looking for something a bit more professional, this pencil skirt would make a great office look. The ombre effect is a nice little surprise for such a classic skirt.
